Teaching from your plan: Teach mode, slides & the Finish sheet

Run the lesson from the plan, put it on the board, then record how it went.

Teachers
  1. Open today's lesson (from Today's Now card, the Lesson planner, or the class Plan tab) and choose Teach.
  2. Teach mode shows the part you're on and what's next, with a pacing timer when your parts have minutes.
  3. ⋯ holds Present on board, Take attendance, Review memory work, Quiz the class, Set homework, Edit lesson and Slides.
  4. When the bell goes, choose Finish lesson.

The Finish sheet

Mark the lesson Done, Didn't finish or Skipped. If you didn't finish, tick what you got through and choose Add the rest to the next lesson or Push this class back one class. Say how it went (Went well, OK, Went badly) and leave a Note for next year. After you Save, Next class takes you straight to your next lesson.

Slides and quizzes

A lesson's Slides page (⋯ → Slides) lets you build slides — New slide, or Start from the plan — and Present them; in Teach mode, the Slides card's Show on the board sends them to your classroom display. Quiz the class runs the class's flash cards as a game: No score, Teams, or House points (posted to the House Cup straight away, with Undo last).

Had students absent? The catch-up button after Finish sends their families a short note about what they missed.
