Rather than a ping per event, the parent digest bundles a family's updates (new grades, announcements, upcoming work) into one email. There are two: a daily end-of-day recap and a weekly summary. Families only get what they're allowed to see, and unsubscribed guardians are never emailed.
- Open Communications → Parent digest.
- Switch on the Daily digest (end-of-day recap of new work, tests and announcements) and/or the Weekly digest.
- Choose Edit on either to set the time, the day (weekly), and Send to — everyone, or chosen groups.
- For the weekly, choose which sections to Include: The week ahead, New grades, New assignments & tests, Upcoming work, Missing work and Class announcements.
Communications → Parent digest — the daily and weekly digests with their schedules.
Parents choose Daily, Weekly or Off for themselves under My account → Summary email, and can re-read past digests on the Announcements page's Your summary emails tab.
