Messages for families

Read the school's announcements, say Got it, and write to a teacher.

ParentsStudents

Messages has two tabs: Announcements (what the school and your teachers send out) and Conversations (your one-to-one messages with a teacher or the office). Each tab shows how many are unread.

  1. Open Messages and read what's new on Announcements.
  2. If an announcement asks for it, choose ✓ Got it so the teacher knows you've seen it (otherwise ✓ Done files it away). Handled announcements fold into a Done group.
  3. To answer an announcement, choose ↩ Reply. Only the person who sent it sees your reply. If replies are off, the card says so.
  4. To start a conversation, choose New message and pick a teacher or the headmaster.
  5. Choose Mark all read to clear the unread counts at once.

You'll also get messages by email and in the Trivium app, depending on your choices under My account. Replying to a message email goes back into the same conversation.

Search (people, children, messages) finds an old message quickly.
