Learning support & accommodations

Record a student's plan once — teachers see the accommodations where they work.

AdminsTeachers

Learning support (in the Student life group of the sidebar) lists every student with a plan, and which are due for review. It's open to admins and the learning-support team.

  1. Open the student's profile → Records → Learning support, and choose Add a plan (or Edit).
  2. Tick the accommodations (and add your own), write Plan notes, set a Review date, and attach the Plan document.
  3. Under Who can see the plan, choose the office, learning support and this student's teachers — or the office and learning support only.
  4. Optionally tick Show the family the accommodations list (never the notes or document). Choose Save plan.

Teachers then see a small blue marker beside the student on the class roster, the attendance roll, gradebook rows and the seating chart. Hover or tap it for the accommodations; tests and quizzes show an Extra time banner when it applies.
