Forms, permission slips & fees

Send a form to families, collect answers per child, and charge for it on one invoice.

AdminsParents

Forms (part of the Marketing module) handle anything you'd otherwise send home on paper — permission slips, hot-lunch orders, field-trip fees, surveys. A form can charge for what families choose, and each family gets one invoice covering all their children.

  1. Open Marketing → Forms and choose + New form. Pick a starting point — a template or blank.
  2. On the Questions tab, add your questions. Put per-child questions in a section that Repeats per student.
  3. To charge, set a price: a Number field takes a Price per unit, a checkbox or yes/no takes a Price when checked / yes, and options can each have a price (tick Also ask how many for a quantity).
  4. Set a Due date if there is one.
  5. On the Send tab, send it to All families or Choose groups (or specific students), or share its link. Send reminder nudges families who haven't finished.
  6. Watch the Responses tab — each family's status, the totals across completed responses, and a Print order list for things like lunch orders.

For families

Open the form from the email or from Forms in your menu. Answer once for the family and once per child where asked; your answers save as you go. If the form charges, you'll see a running total; when you submit, the charge is added to your family's account as one invoice, which you pay from Billing (online, or at the office).
