Holidays, breaks and PD days live under Settings → School calendar — choose Add day and pick Holiday, Break or PD day. School events are on the Calendar.
Settings → School day sets how each day runs, in tabs: Operating days, Periods, Rotation (A/B days), Cohorts, Chapel (the recurring chapel block) and Part-time. Set these so the schedule lays out correctly.
