Ask Triv is safe by design. Each person only ever sees their own family's or class's information — it answers within exactly the permissions you already have.
It never changes anything on its own. When you ask it to do something — enter attendance, record a grade, send a message — it shows you exactly what it is about to do under Needs your confirmation and waits for you to choose Confirm. If you don't confirm, nothing happens. Anything it drafts, a comment or a message, is yours to review, edit, and approve before it's saved or sent.
Families and students
For students, Triv coaches rather than doing the work — it explains and quizzes, but won't write the essay or hand over the answer. If a student tells Triv something that suggests they may be unsafe, Triv tells them it is letting a trusted adult know and alerts the safeguarding contacts your school set in Settings → AI assistant (or, if none are set, every headmaster and admin). Families have a daily question limit: parents 25, students 15.
