Homework (in your sidebar, or Add homework on Today) sets work for any of your classes: homework, quizzes, tests and projects. Choose + Coursework instead to start from a graded assignment.
- Choose + Add homework. Assign to A class (or A student) and pick the Class. Teaching parallel sections? Tick them under Also for — each gets its own post, due at its own next class.
- Pick the Type, add a Title and Details, and attach files if you need to.
- Due defaults to Next class — or tap Tomorrow, next week, or Pick….
- Set Grading (Not graded, Points, or Complete or incomplete) and Parent sign-off (Not needed or Required).
- Optionally Leave students out, add another item, or Save as template for next time. Choose Add homework.

After it's posted
- Check (on ungraded work) — tap anyone who didn't do it; it flags missing for the family with no gradebook entry.
- Sign-off chips (N of M signed) show who still needs a parent's signature.
- Finish moves an item to Finished once it's settled — nothing is deleted or shown to families; Reopen brings it back.
- ⋯ holds Edit, Attach a file or photo, Edit in Gradebook, Assign again (set it again for other classes or dates) and Delete.
Families see homework in that evening's summary and on their Homework page through its due day. Graded items also appear in the class Gradebook.
